Jeff Wring
Service Director One West
Within One West Jeff is the Service Director responsible for overall service delivery and developing our Commercial approach as well as being the engagement lead for all key Client relationships.
He is also the Chief Audit Executive for three Councils, Statutory Data Protection Officer, SRO for Security and lead officer for various Audit Committee’s and the Pensions Board.
One West has around 50 staff working in teams to deliver its services.
Rob Long
Head of Information Assurance
Rob is responsible for Information Governance which includes GDPR, Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.
He also leads a team providing Information Governance services to circa 300 schools and other customers across the South West of England.
Steve De-Bruin
Head of Client & Business Services
Steve is responsible for business development within One West. This includes the maintenance of nearly 350 customers spread over the South West providing Data Protection, Audit, Business Continuity and other services .
He is also the lead on Business Continuity for both B&NES and North Somerset Council and works closely with Records Management to facilitate their service delivery.
Andy Cox
Head of Audit & Assurance
Andy is responsible for Internal Audit within B&NES. This means leading a team working with all council services as well as the WECA.
His area additionally leads on Risk Management within the Council ensuring risks are identified and mitigated as early as possible.
Audit and Assurance is also the Councils gate keeper for internal ‘whistle blowing’ and external complaints.
Peter Cann
Head of Audit & Assurance NSC
Pete is responsible for provision of internal audit and the maintenance of the B&NES contract with North Somerset Council. He has a team working within NSC working directly with the client to do this.
His team is also a lead provider of Internal Audit to schools and other customers throughout the region.
